On October 14, 2025, the citizens of Miami will have the opportunity to vote on a $14.7 million bond to create a new lower elementary school at the current Will Rogers Middle School site, as well as modernize and renovate areas of Nichols Upper Elementary to complete the project begun with the previous bond. This is an exciting opportunity and an important step in making a smaller footprint for Miami Public Schools to be more efficient in how we provide the educational experience for our students and staff.
